On Why the Appearance?

When will the eyes of the world turn to the Sublime, with certainty in His beauty?
When will they obey the religion and serve His commands, reaching the highest and most supreme?
When will the eyes of the world be erased in His gaze, reaching the perfection of the religion?
When will they reach Ali, the most exalted, the most supreme rank of creation, the best of all creatures?

God created the Mahdi (as), the manifestation of His beautiful names of religion.
The Mahdi (as), the guide of the religion, his sole master.
God created the Mahdi (as), the helper of His Prophet Muhammad (s), his messenger.
God created the Mahdi (as) from the throne of majesty, the guardian of the religion.

We have an Imam, beloved and the banner-bearer of the religion of Muhammad (s).
The manifestation of the attributes and virtues, the dwelling place of the religion of Muhammad (s).
In gratitude for His perfections, we must say: Blessed is Allah, the best of creators!
Blessed is Allah, Lord of the worlds, for the creation of the religion of Muhammad (s).

Why, then, do they kill your helper, the one who defended your religion?
Why, then, do they inflict cruelty upon the guide of truth, the speaker of your faith?
Why, then, do they not await the news of your appearance and inflict cruelty upon your envoy?
Why, then, do they not recognize the gifts of the Most Merciful Creator and kill the pure soul in ignorance?

O people of the world, know that the Mahdi (as) is the savior of the world, the manifest proof of God.
Be mindful, the Mahdi (as) is humble in obedience to the Wise Creator.
