Virtues of Reciting Surah Balad in the Opinions of the Imams (Peace Be Upon Them)

1. From Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him), it is narrated: Whoever recites Surah [Balad] in their obligatory prayers will be known as righteous in this world and will be renowned in the hereafter for having a special place with God. On the Day of Judgment, they will be among the companions of [Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family)] , the martyrs, and the righteous.

2. [Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family)] also said: Whoever recites Surah [Balad], God will grant them protection from His wrath on the Day of Judgment.

   Imam Sadiq (peace be upon him) states: Whoever enters a city and recites this Surah three times, will be protected by the help of the Righteous from epidemics and other calamities therein.
