The Generosity of God - Poetry/Literature

Years we waited, until we were ready, we know, O God.
The tangled path to perfection, we know, O God.
If we untangle the knot, we are artists, we know, O God.
If we emerge from the burden of sin, we are blessed, we know, O God.
Guide our hands, so we may escape shame, O God.
Let us work towards goodness and fortune, away from futility, O God.
If your rain of mercy is always upon the world, O God.
May guidance always be the way, according to your religion, O God.
Have mercy on the poor, for they are all in need of you, O God.
Let the world flourish, for all are dependent on you, O God.
If you purify all in the name of the Most High, the Creator, it is fitting, O God.
If you bring them to perfection, elevating the Creator, it is fitting, O God.
If you guide people through the intercession of pure hearts, it is fitting, O God.
Through your generous intercession, grant forgiveness, through your compassion, it is fitting, O God.
Come, have mercy on us, in your transcendence, for you are the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, O God.
Purify people from flaws and evils, for you are the Most Merciful of the Merciful, O God.
Shower the fragrance of the blossoms of Muhammad.
