The Necessity of Recognizing and Following the Example of Hazrat Fatimah (peace be upon her)

How much do we know about Hazrat Fatimah (peace be upon her)? Is our knowledge of her sufficient to make her a proper model for correct perspectives and a good life?

A narration states:

Imam Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance): "Indeed, I have in the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (Hazrat Fatimah peace be upon her) a good example."

(Al-Ghaybah, Tusi, p. 286)

Interpretations of the Hadith Regarding the Necessity of Recognizing and Following the Example of Hazrat Fatimah (peace be upon her)

• Hazrat Fatimah (peace be upon her) is a good example even for Imam Mahdi (peace be upon him).
• The prerequisite for benefiting from following the example of Hazrat Fatimah (peace be upon her) is knowing her.
• The hadith "The daughter of the Messenger of Allah (Hazrat Fatimah peace be upon her) is a good example for me." (Al-Ghaybah, Tusi, p. 286)
• This indicates the greatness, high status, growth, perfections, and uprightness of Hazrat Fatimah (peace be upon her). She is not only a model in religious lifestyle but also a model and example for the Imam, the leaders of society, and for the advancement of society and the rule of example.
• It is necessary for officials and those involved in education, training, and cultural development ("Imams" from preachers, media, higher education, and teaching and education) to make the necessary efforts appropriate to the age in introducing more and better perspectives, morals, and the personality of Hazrat Fatimah (peace be upon her) in textbooks, supplementary materials, films, publications, media, and speeches.
