Dua (Supplication) of Surah Al-A’la - A Rewritten English Translation

** بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم (Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim) - In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful**

Oh Lord!
Bestow blessings upon Muhammad and his progeny, and upon humanity, the great blessing of recognizing You and Your prophets, especially the recognition of the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad, and the Immaculate Guides (peace be upon them all), so that they may never fall into disbelief, hypocrisy, vices, ignorance, sin, disease, or negligence of their Creator’s worship.

Lord!
By Your boundless grace, Your perfect majesty, Your supreme exaltation, and by the right of Your Most Beautiful Names, make humanity humble, reverent, pure, and free from all flaws and shortcomings, and elevate them to the knowledge, growth, and perfection that enables various authorities, powers, societies, and nations to remain under Your authority and the authority of the Fourteen Infallibles (peace be upon them all), especially Imam Mahdi, the Promised One (peace be upon them all), so that their lives in this world and the hereafter are filled with contentment with their Creator, their virtues, purity, perfection, health, happiness, and God-pleasing worship.

Lord!
You whom the glorifiers and those who praise are unable to praise You to the extent of Your bestowal of grace and mercy, bestow blessings upon Muhammad and his progeny, and enable humanity to contemplate Your creation and to be guided by the perfection of Your divine power, to align their desires with Your own and with the guidance of the Infallibles, and to teach Your apparent and hidden servants in Your religion, to purify their souls, and to make them followers of the Infallibles.

Lord!
You who, by Your boundless grace, appointed the prophets (peace be upon them all), the mother of the Imams, Lady Fatima Zahra (peace be upon her), and the Twelve Imams (peace be upon them all) as means of guidance and salvation for humanity, make Your creations, especially the children of Adam, worthy of intercession by the Infallibles, and by Your compassion and mercy, may the inhabitants of the earth and the heavens all be under Your eternal guidance, so that they may always be successful and happy in both worlds.

Lord!
Bestow blessings upon Muhammad and his progeny, so that Your reminders and guidance may settle in minds and hearts, enabling humanity to reflect on the reminders of their Creator, to honor prayer, to perform prayer at times that please their Creator, and to engage in supplication to God.

Lord!
By Your boundless grace, under Your authority and the authority of Your Infallible representative, Imam Mahdi (peace be upon him), deliver all affairs of systems, families, and societies from deviations from Your religion, and elevate all authorities, systems, and lives to perfection, growth, purity, health, and the necessary perfections for all times, generations, and places, and enable them to prioritize the afterlife over the present life, and to always obey the commands of their Creator and the Infallibles, benefiting from the blessings of life and righteous governance.

الهی آمین یا ارحم الراحمین (Allahumma Amin Ya Arhamar Rahimeen) - Amen, O Most Merciful of the Merciful
By the blessings and sanctity of Muhammad and his pure family.

اللهم صل علی محمد وآل محمد و عجل فرجهم (Allahumma Salli Ala Muhammad Wa Ali Muhammad Wa Ajil Farajahum) - O God, send blessings upon Muhammad and his family and hasten their relief.

اللهم عجل لولیک الفرج صاحب الزمان وجعلنا من خیر انصارهی و اعوانهی و شیعته (Allahumma Ajil li-walika al-faraja Sahiba al-Zaman wa ja’alna min khayri ansarihi wa a’wanihi wa shiya’atihi) - O God, hasten the relief of Your servant, the Master of the Time, and make us among his best supporters, helpers, and followers.
