Arbaeen: A Literary Reflection on Prose

Forty trees of paradise flourished,
Forty days the sun grieved over the martyrdom of Hussein,
Forty days the caravan of Hussein recited elegies of love within the tent of the memories of Ashura,
Forty days Hussein, the guide, joined his Lord amongst the righteous and faithful, and was martyred by the most unjust of people.
The Arbaeen pilgrimage is a heroic movement for attaining perfection and preparing for the emergence of goodness, and for the best of refinement, a blessed life, and the establishment of the rule of God and the return of the lineage of Muhammad (peace be upon him).
God willing.
On Arbaeen of Hussein (peace be upon him), we pledge to God that we will always be witnesses to the path of that Imam, responsive to his call, and supporters of Imam Mahdi (peace be upon him).
In a spring where the breeze of love from the caravan of Hussein (peace be upon him) reminds us of the bravery and purity of the valiant humans in the field of monotheism, let us increase the purity of our souls and the purity of our thoughts by benefiting from the soul-refreshing pilgrimage of Arbaeen.
